CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw has been found in agentscope-ai AgentScope up to 2.0.8. This affects the function check_permissions of the file src/agentscope/tool/_builtin/_bash.py of the component Bash Tool. This manipulation causes incorrect authorization. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.0.9 mitigates this issue. Patch name: 6b43b13a46401e86abd3defeed9a8bfe5b37bc6d. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.

HotCRP is conference review software. Starting with 2.101, the `cmt:` search term checks whether a comment is visible to the searching user but fails to check whether the commenter's identity should be visible. A `cmt:USER` search can therefore match a paper with a visible comment authored by USER even when the comment is supposed to be anonymous. An authenticated user with access to the search can infer the author of an anonymous comment, compromising reviewer anonymity. Comments that the user cannot see remain excluded from search results. The advisory prose identifies 3.3 as fixed, its affected-version metadata excludes 3.3, and the verified repository tag 3.3 already contains the identity-check fix; however, its patched-version metadata instead lists 3.3.1. This fixed-version source conflict remains unresolved.
Shopify App is a Rails engine for building Shopify applications. From 22.1.0 until 23.0.3, `token-exchange` authenticated controllers can expose a request-derived `shop` context instead of the identity from a verified Shopify ID token or active Shopify session. `current_shopify_domain` can resolve to the sanitized `shop` query parameter, so a request authenticated for one `shop` can cause application code to treat a different requested `shop` as current. Affected applications use `shopify_app` `token-exchange` authentication, accept authenticated requests with a `shop` query parameter, and rely on `current_shopify_domain` or `params[:shop]` for authorization, tenant lookup, stored access-token selection or `shop`-scoped data access. An attacker with a valid Shopify session token for one `shop` can supply another `shop` in that parameter and potentially obtain unauthorized application data or perform `shop`-scoped actions, depending on the application's authorization model. This issue is fixed in version 23.0.3.
Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains a policy bypass vulnerability in the admissionpolicygenerator controller, which folds PolicyExceptions into generated ValidatingAdmissionPolicies while ignoring the --enablePolicyException, --exceptionNamespace, and policy kind gates. Users with namespaced create rights on PolicyExceptions can inject negated matchConditions into the generated policies to admit violating resources, bypassing cluster-wide enforcement.
Kyverno from 1.17.0 before 1.19.2 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows namespace admins to escape namespace confinement because the cleanup controller builds its context loader with a nil policy. Attackers can create a namespaced CleanupPolicy with apiCall or globalReference context entries to read cross-namespace Secrets and modify validatingwebhookconfigurations using the cleanup controller's ServiceAccount.
Sandboxie-Plus is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. Prior to 1.18.6, a process inside a sandbox could send MSGID_FILE_SET_ATTRIBUTES or MSGID_FILE_SET_SHORT_NAME to SbieSvc and cause the SYSTEM service to open and modify an existing file outside the sandbox. The direct primitive changes file attributes, timestamps, writeability, or 8.3 short names; a short-name redirection can additionally contribute to SYSTEM code execution when a privileged process resolves an attacker-controlled short-name path in a location SbieSvc can open. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.18.6.
Pocket ID is an OIDC provider that allows users to authenticate with their passkeys to services. From 1.11.0 until 2.10.0, createTokenFromClientCredentials in backend/internal/service/oidc_service.go accepts the client-controlled resource parameter and embeds it directly in the access token aud claim without validating that the audience is registered or that the requesting client may access it. Any authenticated OIDC client can therefore obtain a Pocket ID-signed token naming another client or an arbitrary audience. The /api/oidc/introspect endpoint cannot distinguish the unauthorized token because it treats a token as active when the introspecting client's identifier matches the attacker-selected audience. In deployments where resource servers trust Pocket ID access tokens for service-to-service authorization, this bypasses audience-based access controls and can permit unauthorized data access or actions; deployments that do not use these tokens for resource-server authorization have no immediate exploitable impact. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.0.
A flaw was found in the REST Data Panache component of Quarkus. When a security constraint is applied to an entity property using the @SecureField annotation on its getter method rather than the field itself, the generated REST resource fails to enforce this constraint for filtering and sorting operations. This allows an authenticated user to infer sensitive data values by observing which records match specific filter criteria or how they are ordered, even though the values are omitted from the final response.
Incorrect authorization in Autofill AI in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to obtain cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Incorrect authorization in Forms in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
A flaw was found in pki-core. The v2 REST ACL filter selects a tie-breaking permission for colliding literal and wildcard ACL keys using lexicographic string comparison rather than specificity, causing a wildcard-mapped permission to override a more specific literal-mapped permission when both match. In the CA's profile-management REST API this allows a request to POST /v2/profiles/raw -- intended to require Administrator-level profiles.create permission -- to instead be authorized under the lower-privileged profiles.approve permission held by the default Certificate Manager Agents group. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and integrity of the certificate authority's issuance policy.
A flaw was found in udisks2. A local attacker with an active console session can exploit insufficient authorization checking on the 'as-user' option in the org.freedesktop.UDisks2.Filesystem.Mount() D-Bus method. This allows the attacker to spoof the 'as-user' parameter, mounting filesystems on behalf of arbitrary users, including privileged accounts. This can lead to local privilege escalation through mount point injection and manipulation of the mount namespace visible to privileged users.
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The SELFDN ACI bind-rule evaluator incorrectly matches an anonymous LDAP client's empty bind DN against an empty stored attribute value, allowing an unauthenticated client to satisfy access control checks intended to require a matching authenticated identity. This can allow an anonymous LDAP client to perform an operation, such as adding or modifying a directory entry, that a SELFDN-based ACI intended to restrict to a specific authenticated user.
Incorrect authorization in BackgroundFetch in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Incorrect authorization in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
